Baby Doll

Since I can't have a little brother or sister right now, my mom thought she would get me the next best thing- a baby doll!

I love holding and talking to my baby doll, and I even know how to give him soft kisses on the head. Mom and dad are trying to teach me not to bite, hit or throw my baby doll. Its slow coming but maybe by the time I have a baby sibling I'll know how to be gentle.

With Baby's big bald head, we could definitely pass as brothers.

Giving Raspberries

Under normal circumstances my mommy would NEVER let images of her belly be broadcast on the internet- but this was too funny not to share. What's even better, is that I had been giving raspberries for a good ten minutes before my dad got the camera out.

Walking Injury

Tonight, I had my very first walking injury. I was taking a few steps between the couch and the coffee table and I fell face first into the edge of the table. At first, my mom and dad thought I needed stitches but I didn't cry very much and the bleeding stopped rather quickly. A few minutes later and I was playing happily in the bath like nothing ever happened. Now I just have a small cut and a fat lip to prove how tough I am. Frankly, the fact that I was walking is much more exciting than the injury.

Watching My Cousins Grow

One of of my favorite things to do is climb up onto my mom's lap when she's reading blogs. I like learning about all my cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Tonight, I got to watch a video of my cousin, Lexi as she crawled around. Lexi lives far away in Utah, but I can always check her blog and learn about all her cool new tricks.

Goops In It

Lately, I've really enjoyed dancing. Especially to one of my favorite songs, "Goops In It." Its about goopy eyes, which is something I can relate to. I have goopy eyes and nose all the time because of my goopy ears. I have an appointment to see the ENT in three weeks and hopefully I can get some nifty tubes in my ears to help drain my goop.

Until then, I'm going to keep dancing with my moms.

Shukran Baba!

That means "Thanks Grandpa!" You see, my Baba might be far away in Baghdad, but last night he treated me and my parents to a delicious dinner at Texas Roadhouse. I guess Baba thought my mom needed a little "meat rehab" after her difficult trip to Tucson. I think it worked- she's much happier today.

I had fun stuffing my face with cheese and potatoes, and playing peek-a-booker with my napkin. It would have been a perfect evening if only the balloon man had visited our table. Even without a balloon hat, it was a pretty fun evening.

Shukran, Baba and Ramadan Kareem to those who celebrate!

Rie Rie

We made it to Tucson and I finally got to see my aunt Marie. Cameras were not allowed, so we had to sneak a photo of us in the lobby. Marie seemed happy, healthy and excited to have visitors. She showed us around the grounds (where I got to see horses) and then we ate dinner with her and the other patients.

All the other patients were excited to see a baby and they paid lots of attention to me. One guy kept telling everyone that I was there because I had a "bottle addiction." Puh-lease. I don't even drink bottles any more! More like a fruit snack addiction.

We had a lot of fun visiting Marie (well, as much fun as a baby can have when he visits rehab :) I was pretty pooped and slept the whole way home. We miss you, Marie and can't wait to pick you up in a few weeks!

Driving to Tucson

Here are some scenic photos from our drive to Tucson. Some of the highlights include seeing the state prison in Florence, driving through Cactus Forest and seeing two dead coyotes.

Childhood Obesity

On the way to Tucson, we stopped at Burger King to get my play on (and to get my fries and shake on- yum).

Get Up, Stand Up

Booker BOO

Sometimes when he's bored, my dad will try to scare the crap outta me. But I've got eyes on the back of my bald little head. He's going to have to work harder than this.
