The Tucson Rodeo

Someone get this kid a cowboy hat.

That's more like it.

Booker & Sarah.
In the hat's defense, it was 85 degrees and SUNNY today. No sunburns for us.

Booker in all his gringo glory.
We didn't get the memo that when you're at the Rodeo, you dress like a cowboy. Good thing two-year-olds aren't easily embarrassed.

Feeding the Ducks

Riding the Train

Waiting for the train.

The Zoo

We love the Tucson Zoo. Its just the right size. Lots of animals but small enough to enjoy without getting burned out.

The sleeping rhino on the left let out a nice, long toot that kept Booker laughing for about 5 minutes.

This must by chomper's great grandpa.

It was a good day for peacocks...

A Guide to Winning Rachel Matson's Heart

And who wouldn't want to? She's the prettiest toddler in all of Tucson.

Step one- drive a cool car.

Show off your mad basketball skills.

Always remember- ladies first.

Laugh at all her jokes.

Share your toys.

Take her to the movies.

Take things slow. But not too slow.

You'll be staring into those blue eyes in no time.

Stylin'

I know what you're thinking:

Booker, you have such a bold sense of fashion.
Booker, you look so very... European today.
I wish I had the guts to wear capri pants.

What you may not know? My mom was a bit frazzled this morning and put my little brother's pants on me without realizing it. Now you're thinking:

Man, I wish I had a booty that let me wear 3-6 months sized pants.

And maybe:

Yikes, who gave you that haircut? And why doesn't someone wipe your nose?

Enjoying the "Cuzzi"

We spent Saturday evening in the jacuzzi- listening to music and getting all pruney. Booker enjoyed making "tidal waves" and Teichert laughed and laughed every time he got splashed. It was a perfect way to end the day.

Bumbo's are not intended to be flotation devices, but Ike sure liked his little "throne."

Some baby butt crack.
