Asher's First Official Word?

Asher sure babbles and jabbers on quite a bit. Yesterday Clark pointed out that it sounded a lot like he was saying "Ike" while he was around his brother. I didn't quite believe it until this morning. Asher and I were hanging out on the couch waiting for Ike to wake up. As soon as Ike came downstairs, Asher started belting out his name. What do you think- coincidence or Asher's first word?

Student of the Week

Booker is Student of the Week in his class. It's always fun discovering what your kids think about themselves. Here's what Booker wanted his classmates to know about him...

My family, my brother Ike, my dog Fergus, Go Giants (his t-ball team), my cousins, I was born in Mesa.
I LIKE: Music, Angry Birds, Shaun the Sheep, Star Wars, Legos, licorice, Bakugan, Harry Potter, Bubblegum, swimming, Animal the Muppet and riding my bike.
Also, the typophile in me couldn't resist making him chose his own font for his name. He picked Fonts Bomb Jigsaw because "he loves doing puzzles."

Sadly, this video does not capture the sheer VOLUME that Booker is capable of demonstrating... late at night when he is supposed to be sleeping and not listening to music (I think my hand accidentally covered the microphone at one point, grrrrr). But it's hilarious to me none the less. I'm glad Booker isn't yet embarrassed when I record him acting silly.
