A few weeks ago, Booker competed with his swim team the Wade Mclean Tiger Sharks. He got a fifth place ribbon in backstroke and a FIRST PLACE ribbon in freestyle. Well done, buddy!

Splash and Dash
A few weeks ago, Booker participated in a Splash and Dash. He swam 8 laps and then ran 1/2 a mile. Ike was too young to participate, but don't tell him that.

Kindergarten Celebration
I can't believe how fast this school year has flown by. Booker celebrated his Kindergarten completion by performing some songs and accepting some awards from his fabulous teacher. He finally made the Honor Roll and also received a character award for being responsible and always completing his tasks. I'm proud of that kid and looking forward to having him around more during the summer. Let the vacation begin!
Father & Sons Campout
Clark took the boys camping last Friday night and they had a ball. A little too much fun, in fact. Now every time anything happens, this happens...
Mom: Ike, get your shoes on. We have to go to the grocery store.
Ike: YES YES YES. We're going camping. Come on Asher, we're going camping. CAMPING CAMPING CAMPING.
Mom: Nope, we're going to Walmart.
Doorbells rings.
Ike: Alright, alright, alright, It's camping time! Let's go, Booker.
Ike grabs his pillow pet and sleeping bag.
Dad: Ok, guys, time to brush your teeth and go read stories.
Ike: Yes! Booker, let's go brush our teeth so we can go camping.

Thank you Baba!
We wanted to wait and open this on Skype but I was sick of being harassed by Booker (and Ike) and the time difference was making it difficult to catch you online. I'm pretty sure Booker (but not Ike) lost about 2 hours of sleep last night because he was too anxious/excited thinking about the package that arrived for him (and Ike) yesterday.
Thank you for the "just because" present, Baba! Booker (and Ike) absolutely love it. As you can see, "and Ike" is especially excited about the bubble wrap that came with it. I anticipate some epic battles with their fighter pods after school today.
