Walking Bean
The most miraculous thing happened tonight. In fact, my mommy has tears in her eyes as she's writing. Yesterday, I wasn't walking. Yesterday, I wasn't even CLOSE to walking. Today, I am walking. Its the most insane thing ever. I had my surgery this morning and now I can walk. If you don't believe me, watch this video that my mom just recorded on her phone so she can show my daddy (who, naturally, is away in Washington DC when I take my first steps). Its the most unbelievable thing ever. I wasn't even standing on my own and taking steps unaided yesterday. YESTERDAY. Incredible what fluid in your ears will prevent you from doing.
Anyways, here is a picture of me in the bath tub earlier this evening. I had to have custom earplugs made because my ears are so "narrow." Until those arrive, I have to use cotton balls and vaseline. Icky.
Well, I've conned my mom into letting me stay up way too late by walking up and down the room. But the time has come for me to go to bed. Good night and watch out, world. I'm a walking bean!

Hurrah for The Bean.
Hey, that's real walking, too. Nice work, Booker!
The same thing happened when Harry got his tubes in his ears. Isn't it amazing? What a miraculous little surgery!
Go Booker Go! That is so exciting. What a grown up little man you're becoming. Come up here soon to show off your new moves!
