Star Wars- Episode 1

Clark took Booker to see Episode 1 in the movie theater last weekend. Clark read a book on his Kindle the whole time. Booker came home and literally ran circles around the house for 30 minutes jabbering on about how AWESOME it was.

Booker's Half Birthday

Yes, celebrating half birthdays is ridiculous. But since Booker and Ike have half birthdays in the same month it seemed like a good excuse to buy an ice cream cake, eat half of it and save the other half for a few weeks.

We also sang "Halfty Birthday"and gave Booker a six pack of bottled root beer. He loved it. He even slept with all six sodas in his bed that night. Starting new traditions can be fun, as long as you keep it simple!

Boys Lately

He Can Sleep Anywhere

Ike has taken to sleeping in his closet with the door closed. I should be used to it by now, but I still panic every time I go to check on him and discover an empty room. What a goofball.  

Second Quarter Awards Assembly

Booker received an award for perfect attendance and a B.U.G. (Bringing Up Grades) award. Well done, Bean! 

Milestones for a Nearly Ninth Month Old Asher

Asher's top two toofers recently sprouted and they happen to make an appearance in the above videos.


He's also started pulling himself up and cruising the furniture.


He might be my first early walker.

New Year's Eve Party

I don't know why I'm surprised, but Booker actually stayed up until midnight to ring in the New Year. He  and Ike had a blast celebrating with friends.
