Remember this guy? He's back. And this time we decided to parade him around the neighborhood for maximum embarrassment. Sure, we told the boys we were "delivering cookies" but really we just wanted to laugh at Teichert in public. Funny thing though- I think he genuinely loves his Santa suit. He's not nearly as mortified as Booker was two years ago. Look at that proud strut...

After our trip to Mesa, we headed back to Tucson and trick-or-treated our neighborhood. Booker had a pretty good haul at this point but we still decided to check out the ward Halloween party and hit up the trunk-or-treating (I noticed a lack of Reeses peanut butter cups in his bucket.) Teichert must have been motivated by the cake walk because he was up and walking all over the place. I seem to remember something similar happening two years ago.
Yesterday, we went up to Mesa for a Halloween party with the Proffitts. Booker and Ike always have a blast up at Grunyon Run (think trampoline, slides, swings, and bikes galore.) They both fell in love with this motorcycle. At one point, Ike climbed on and set his knee on the pedal. He went around and around in circles for quite some time before he shifted off.

Booker just started a gymnastics class that he absolutely loves. Here's how the first class went down...
B: Mom, I have gymnastics class today.
B: You and Ikie (yes, Ikie) are going to watch me.
M: Yep, we're going to watch you.
B: You are going to clap for me.
M: Heck yeah, I'm going to clap LOUD for you because I'm so proud.
B: No, mom. Just clap softly.
Sad M: Ok, buddy, I'll just clap softly.
He's way too young to be embarrassed by his mother, right?! Or is that something that all little boys are just born with?
