Since starting school, Booker has gotten pretty good with his sight words. This video is rather dull but it gives you a good idea of what our afternoons look like: Booker being goofy, Ike sticking his hands down his pants and Asher laughing at it all.

Also, I'm looking for book suggestions for Booker. So far we've read The Phantom Tollbooth, The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe, Mr. Popper's Penguins, Peter Pan, Matilda, The Twenty-One Balloons, The BFG, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach, Fantastic Mr. Fox and Stuart Little. Of those books, he really enjoyed Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Matilda and The BFG were a little above his level. What are your favorite books for a 5-6 year old?

"The Little Prince." Probably one of my faves as a kid. I also loved Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys. Anything Roald Dahl

From the Mixed up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, Dear Mr. Henshaw, Charlotte's Web, The Boxcar Children series, Stuart Little.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
